What we collect

We handle your account information, such as the email address used to sign in. You may voluntarily enter candidate and interview information, including names, notes, meeting details, folders, and edits to generated briefs.

How we use it

We use this information to sign you in, organize your interviews, and generate and save editable recruiting briefs. The notes you submit are sent to an AI service to produce a structured brief. Service providers involved in operating the app may process information to provide these features. Review AI-generated information before use.

Voice notes

If you choose to add a voice note, the recording is sent to third-party AI transcription infrastructure for the purpose of converting your speech to text. The resulting text is added to your interview notes. CinderScribe does not intentionally store the original voice recording after it is submitted for transcription.

Your choices

Only upload candidate information you are authorized to process. Avoid unnecessary sensitive information, including Social Security numbers, financial accounts, passwords, medical information, and unnecessary protected demographic information. This beta is intended for U.S. recruiting workflows.

Interview notes and briefs remain in your account until you delete an individual record. You can export or delete an individual interview from its brief page, and you can delete your whole account and all its saved records from the Account page. Removing a folder moves its briefs to another folder or leaves them unfiled; it does not delete the briefs. See Data Retention & Deletion.

Security and contact

Access to saved interview records is restricted to the signed-in account that owns them. Do not share your sign-in credentials.
